Wait, you keep score?

When you play at a RackRebel.co Guided or Open Play, the fun doesn’t end when the match is over. One thing we do that sometimes makes folks nervous is - we keep score (in an interactive app!) during what we call a Season. It’s not a traditional league, you don’t have to pay a league fee - it’s just a fun mechanism built into our regular plays!

Scorekeeping isn’t just about winning. It’s the right way to play the game, but in RackRebel Social it’s really about tracking your own mahjong progress and journey while also working to increase your defensive-play naturally. You can watch your personal stats grow, see how your game changes over time, celebrate new personal bests, and create shareable graphics when you have something worth showing off. There are leaderboards for a little friendly competition too, but the real wins are the ones you’re tracking for yourself.

And then there are the badges. Every game you play gives you another chance to add one (or many) to your collection. Some celebrate milestones, some reward the weird things that happen during a game, and some might take you a while to earn. You can see what you’ve collected, figure out what you’re still missing, and have another badge to chase the next time you sit down at the table. Your badges become a little record of all the mahjong you’ve played with us, and collecting them might just become as addictive as mahjong itself!
